New Opportunities Arise: 2024 TAD Board of Directors Election

Per the recent enactment of Senate Bill 2, TAD's Board of Directors is set to undergo an expansion in 2024, introducing three new positions open for public election. Scheduled for May 4, 2024, this county-wide election marks a pivotal moment for community involvement in shaping TAD's direction. The newly elected directors will embark on their terms starting July 1, 2024.

The County Judge's office, in adherence to election requirements, has posted the notification regarding the application filing deadline. For aspiring candidates, the window to file for a place on the ballot spans from January 17, 2024, to February 16, 2024, with applications directed to the Tarrant County Judge's office.
